Family Health Insurance FAQs
When can I enroll for family healthcare coverage?
For most people, insurance plans can only be purchased during the Open Enrollment Period of Nov.1 - Jan.15, however, there are special circumstances (see SEP below). Regardless, anytime is a good time to consider protecting yourself, so request your free quote.
Can I get health insurance for my kids only?
While it is highly recommended that you obtain insurance coverage for yourself and your children, there are policies available to cover just the kids. This is often (but not always) the case when a parent has a separate policy provided by an employer. We'll be glad to show you options for youth.
Who qualifies for the Special Enrollment Period (SEP)
Certain life events, like losing health coverage, moving, getting married, having a baby, or adopting a child, may qualify you to enroll in or change Marketplace health plans outside the yearly Open Enrollment Period. You may contact us to determine eligibility.
